Formal Computational Unlinkability Proofs of RFID Protocols

open access: yes, 2017
International audienceWe set up a framework for the formal proofs of RFID protocols in the computational model. We rely on the so-called computationally complete symbolic attacker model.

MA‐LCPPA: A Multi‐Aggregator Lattice‐Based Conditional Privacy‐Preserving Authentication Scheme for Scalable and Quantum‐Secure VANETs

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper addresses the limitations of existing conditional privacy‐preserving authentication (CPPA) schemes in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), which are either computationally heavy or vulnerable to quantum attacks. It proposes a multi‐aggregator lattice‐based CPPA (MA‐LCPPA) framework that distributes verification across multiple roadside units ...

RLKS-TMS: A Robust and Lightweight Key Agreement Scheme for Telemedicine System

open access: yesIEEE Access
It is challenging in the e-healthcare system to monitor patients using wearables or embedded sensors that can gather real-time physiological data, analyze lab test results, conduct medical examinations, and recommend treatments because all the associated

LIMA: Local and Lightweight Mutual Authentication for VANETs

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This work presents LIMA, a lightweight local authentication protocol for VANETs. It is a SAE J2735 compliant certificateless vehicle authentication that eliminates traditional PKI dependencies while providing geographic zone‐based security and time‐based attribute control.

Distributed Enforcement of Unlinkability Policies: Looking Beyond the Chinese Wall

open access: yes, 2006
This paper presents an access control model that preserves the unlinkability of audit-logs in a distributed environment. The model restricts entities from accessing and correlating two or more audit-records belonging to different service invocations ...

Unlinkable and Revocable Secret Handshake

open access: yesThe Computer Journal, 2021
Abstract In this paper, we introduce a new construction for unlinkable secret handshake that allows a group of users to perform handshakes anonymously. We define formal security models for the proposed construction and prove that it can achieve session key security, anonymity and affiliation hiding.

A Private Blockchain and IPFS‐Based Secure and Decentralized Framework for People Surveillance via Deep Learning Techniques

open access: yesIET Software, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The modern metropolis essentially demands the use of state‐of‐the‐art, real‐time surveillance systems, which should be reliable, scalable, and respectful of privacy at the same time. Critical shortcomings in traditional architectures are single points of failure, poor scalability, frequent data breaches, and inadequately managed privacy.

Analyzing Unlinkability of Some Group Signatures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Miyaji et.al proposed a fully functional(i.e., satisfying unforgeability, exculpability, anonymity, traceability, unlinkability, and revocability.) group signature over only known-order groups, that is based only on Discrete logarithm related assumptions,

PQ‐AuthN‐IIoT: A Lightweight, LWE‐Based Postquantum and Privacy‐Preserving Mutual Authentication Scheme for Resource‐Constrained Industrial IoT Systems

open access: yesJournal of Computer Networks and Communications, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The rapid expansion of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) presents pressing challenges for secure, efficient, and privacy‐preserving communication among users, sensors, and cloud infrastructures. Existing lightweight authentication schemes, primarily based on classical cryptographic assumptions, are increasingly vulnerable to the emerging threat ...
