UAV-assisted cooperative downlink NOMA with virtual full-duplex operation
In this paper, we consider an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assisted downlink cellular network consisting of a single base station (BS), two mobile stations (MSs) with N antennas, and K UAV relay stations (RSs). We assume that there exists no direct link

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) [PDF]
It is envisioned by the FAA that by 2016 UAVs will be flying in the NAS in fairly large numbers. There will be an increased need for TE potential hazards cannot be easily mitigated by aircrew action. Human factors and workload must be evaluated with respect to the envisioned mission, which may require long missions at remote sites.

Collision‐Resilient Winged Drones Enabled by Tensegrity Structures
Based on structures of birds such as the woodpeck, this article presents the collision‐resilient aerial robot, SWIFT. SWIFT leverages tensegrity structures in the fuselage and wings which allow it to undergo large deformations in a crash, without sustaining damage. Experiments show that SWIFT can reduce impact forces by 70% over conventional structures.

Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard) is introduced as a four‐drone swarm that autonomously detects, tracks, and safely captures rogue drones using a coordinated net system. Computer vision and leader–follower control architecture enable synchronized enclosure, while integrated failsafes enhance system reliability. Validated through closed‐environment
