Bio-inspired unpowered ankle exoskeleton and its correlation to pelvic list

Multidisciplinary Science Journal
The goal of this paper is to design and test an unmotorized ankle exoskeleton inspired by chimpanzees. The desired result is pronounced pelvic list movement more akin to that of a chimpanzee, increasing hip muscle activation. We believe that the combined stiffness of the ankle and midfoot could play a major role in regulating pelvic stiffness.

An Unpowered Hip Exoskeleton Towards Walking Performance Enhancement for Stroke Survivors

Applied and Computational Engineering
Stroke is one of the leading causes of long-term disability, often resulting in impaired mobility and decreased life quality. This paper presents a novel passive hip exoskeleton system addressing two critical challenges in post-stroke rehabilitation: multi-planar gait assistance and real-time asymmetry quantification.

Development of a novel unpowered rigid-flexible coupling waist exoskeleton through dynamic dimensional synthesis inspired by biomimetic cooperation

Robotica
AbstractIn response to the auxiliary requirements for the treatment and prevention of lumbar diseases, based on the biomechanical characteristics of the human waist, a novel unpowered rigid-flexible coupling waist exoskeleton with multiple degrees of freedom and its human-exoskeleton parallel wearable equivalent research prototype are proposed, further
