Molecular Detection of Sarcocystis suihominis and Sarcocystis miescheriana in Wild Boars Hunted for Human Consumption in Poland Highlights a Potential Risk for the Consumer

open access: yesZoonoses and Public Health, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Wild boars and domestic pigs can act as intermediate hosts for two Sarcocystis species: Sarcocystis miescheriana and the zoonotic Sarcocystis suihominis. Extraction and Analytical Standardisation of DMPBD and Related Phenylbutenoids From Cassumunar Ginger: A Systematic Review and Quantitative Evidence Map

open access: yesPhytochemicals in Food and Medicine, Volume 1, Issue 4, December 2026.
Across 15 studies, extraction technologies produced nonequivalent DMPBD‐related outcomes, preventing a universal method ranking. Reliable comparison requires authenticated plant material, validated compound‐specific quantification, plant‐normalised DMPBD yield, mass balance and transparent resource‐use reporting.
