Abstract Target of rapamycin (TOR) is an evolutionarily conserved serine/threonine kinase that plays a central role in regulating biological growth, development, and stress responses in eukaryotes. However, the TOR signaling pathway has not been thoroughly studied in apple (Malus domestica).

The price of feed cost is one of the main challenges for animal producers in Ethiopia. Sesbania is not utilized for animal feed and is commonly found in different geographical locations. Therefore, mixing of cotton seed cake with dried Sesbania sesban leaves at equal proportion improves biological performance of Semien sheep and economically visible ...

The Social Contexts for Forest Expansions: A Review
Short Abstract The photo portrays a tropical pasture in transition into a silvopastoral landscapse in the Ecuadorian Amazon. ABSTRACT Regional contexts appear to have shaped reforestation processes in six distinctive ways around the world. Two have predominated in wealthy regions and have entailed the spontaneous regeneration of relatively biodiverse ...

The fungal effector VdEPG1, secreted by Verticillium dahliae, interacts with the PR10/Bet v1‐like protein GhSTH‐2. This interaction activates GhSTH‐2‐mediated enhancement of cotton disease resistance through GhTXNDC9‐dependent ROS signalling, while simultaneously enabling VdEPG1 to suppress GhSTH‐2‐induced immunogenic necroptosis.

ABSTRACT The allocation of carbon sources between cotton ovule and fibre significantly influences the yield and quality of seed and fibre. SWEET15 (Sugars Will Eventually be Exported Transporter 15) plays a key role in sucrose transport; however, the transcriptional regulation of SWEET15 in cotton remains unclear.

Identifying favorable alleles for improving key agronomic traits in upland cotton
Background Gossypium hirsutum L. is grown worldwide and is the largest source of natural fiber crop. We focus on exploring the favorable alleles (FAs) for upland cotton varieties improvement, and further understanding the history of accessions selection ...
