Bony fish genomes: Status and gaps

The adaptive processes on the diversity of environments they inhabit make them a highly diverse group from taxonomic, morphological and evolutionary standpoints.

We synthesise these new data with a comprehensive critical appraisal of purported external and internal evidence for caudal vertebral PSP in Sauropodomorpha.

Geologija, 2003 A tooth of chodrostean fish, found in Upper Cretaceous Gosau facies in the quarry near Stranice, is described. In the rocks occurs an abundance of various fossil remains, from the predominanting avertebrates to rare vertebrates.

A description of dental microanatomy and implantation geometry in Chamaeleonidae
Journal of Anatomy, EarlyView.A reassessment of the dental histology in adult chamaeleons reveals the presence of periodontal ligament. Alongside alveolar bone and cementum, these tissues together constitute a compacted and remodelled tripartite periodontium. Our findings include the novel observation of plicidentine‐like protuberances of dentine within underlying bone.

The Unexpected Discovery of Paleocene? Coals in Outcrops Thought to Be Cambrian, Al Huqf, Oman
Journal of Petroleum Geology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Two brown organic deposits were encountered whilst investigating kaolinitic claystones thought to occur at the base of a Cambrian formation at outcrop. The age of these organic deposits is probably Paleocene from palynology. Organic petrography shows that they are subbituminous coals with some oil source potential.
