New upper bounds for the crossing numbers of crossing-critical graphs
A graph $G$ is {$k$-crossing-critical} if $cr(G)\ge k$, but $cr(G\setminus e)

Improved upper bounds on the crossing number [PDF]
The crossing number of a graph is the minimum number of crossings in a drawing of the graph in the plane. Our main result is that every graph G that does not contain a fixed graph as a minor has crossing number O(Δn), where G has n vertices and maximum degree Δ. This dependence on n and O is best possible.

Vowel harmony and vowel merger in Agoi
This paper describes the vowel harmony system and patterns of vowel merger in Agoi, an Upper Cross language. Data indicate that a once fully operative system of vowel harmony has now been generally restricted to the non-high vowels, with a few residual ...

A microarray analysis of two distinct lymphatic endothelial cell populations
We have recently identified lymphatic endothelial cells (LECs) to form two morphologically different populations, exhibiting significantly different surface protein expression levels of podoplanin, a major surface marker for this cell type.

THE RATIO BETWEEN THE LENGTH OF UPPER AND DOWN PARTS OF THE BODY IN THE CROSS-SECTION OF THE EQUAL TORQUES APPEARS AS AN ANATOMICAL CONSTANT [PDF]
The bed scales determine the section, in which the torques of the upper and the down body parts are balanced. In this section the length and mass of the upper and down parts of the body were measured.
