This study reports on the mechanisms of dyspnoea in LHH through a historical review of symptoms and evolved physiological literature, discussing likely causation.

Roux‐en‐Y Reconstruction After Esophagectomy for Postoperative Functional Complaints: A Case Series

ANZ Journal of Surgery, EarlyView.
Functional complaints affect half of esophagectomy patients, with no standard treatment. In nine patients, Roux‐en‐Y reconstruction for obstruction, redundant conduit, and weight loss was safely performed, with one major complication and no Grade 4 out of five events. Complete symptom resolution reached 67% at 3 months and 89% at 1 year.
