Noble gases and nitrogen in material from asteroid Bennu
Abstract We report the elemental and isotopic abundances of all stable noble gases (helium, neon, argon, krypton, and xenon) in eight particles from asteroid Bennu returned by NASA's OSIRIS‐REx mission. We also report nitrogen abundances and isotopic ratios that were analyzed alongside neon and argon in four additional Bennu particles.

We undertake a petrologically driven approach to jointly model magnetotelluric (MT) and seismic surface wave dispersion (SW) data from central Tibet, constrained by topographic height. The approach derives realistic temperature and pressure distributions

Petrochemical and petrophysical characterization of the lower crust and the Moho beneath the West African Craton, based on Xenoliths from Kimberlites [PDF]
Additional evidence to the composition of the lower crust and uppermost mantle was presented in the form of xenolith data. Xenoliths from the 2.7-Ga West African Craton indicate that the Moho beneath this shield is a chemically and physically gradational

Abstract A core drilled through shocked and faulted Archean granitoid gneisses and dolerites in the eroded peak ring of the 70–80 km diameter Morokweng impact structure intersects multiple centimeter‐ to meter‐wide clastic‐matrix breccias containing a polymict clast population of lithic and mineral clasts and altered, millimeter‐ to centimeter ‐size ...

Ecological and genomic variation in ectomycorrhizal fungal exploration types
Summary Ectomycorrhizal fungi (EMF) produce mycelia with variable extension and complexity, which can be classified according to soil ‘exploration types’ (ETs). ETs have received attention as one of the few mycorrhizal trait frameworks, but without an empirical classification of ET functional diversity and environmental preferences, understanding and ...

The utility of surface magnetic field measurements in the MAGSAT program [PDF]
To take full advantage of the global, vector, survey by the Magsat satellite, and international program of augmented surface measurements was proposed. For secular variation and upper mantle conductivity the proposed measurements are global.

ABSTRACT Mycorrhizal symbiosis shapes plant growth and stress resilience. Here, we compared physiological and molecular responses of poplars (P. x canescens) colonised by Paxillus involutus (Pi) or Cenococcum geophilum (Cg) under control conditions, drought stress and recovery.

PGM in chromitites of Kraka massifs (the Southern Urals): diversity and origin
The paper provides results of study of platinum group minerals (PGMs) from 18 ore occurrences and deposits of the Kraka massifs, most of these located in ultramafic rocks of the upper mantle section (15), and several occurrences in a crust-mantle ...
