Passing vehicles generate short‐duration wakes that can be redirected toward a vertical‐axis turbine. The interaction between wake structure, blade count, and rotational speed governs transient torque production. Low‐solidity configurations combined with tuned rotational speed enhance energy extraction under vehicle‐induced gusts.

ABSTRACT This study examines how wave‐induced modulation affects the operational performance and structural dynamics of fixed‐bottom offshore wind turbines operating under a neutral atmospheric boundary layer profile. To capture these effects accurately while maintaining computational efficiency, unsteady RANS modelling techniques are employed.

RADIO VARIABILITY OF THE QUASAR 3C 273 ON THE CENTIMETRIC WAVES -WAVELET-ANALYSIS
3C 273- has been intensively investigated for many years, since opening of quasars in 1963. Since 1965 on radio telescope RT-26 of Michigan University on frequencies 14.5, 8 and 4.8 GHz long monitoring of this radio source have been carried out.

A numerical investigation using 3D RANS simulations demonstrates significant effects of protuberance geometry—cubic, cylindrical, spherical, and conical—on shock‐induced thrust vectoring in supersonic nozzles. Cubic protuberances provide the maximum jet deflection (˜2°) with negligible thrust reduction.
