A direct cascaded utilization strategy for spent LiFePO4 batteries efficiently extracts lithium from brine, embodying the “urban mining” concept. Phase fraction modulation revealed its significant impact on local bond lengths of crystal structure and the Li/Na diffusion energy barrier, identifying the best material (Li0.19FePO4) for lithium extraction.

Spatially Selective Solvation Chemistry by Local Charge Enrichment for Stable Potassium‐Metal Anodes
A MoC/NC functional intermediate medium preferentially interacts with KFSI to reconstruct the interfacial solvation structure and form a KF‐rich inorganic SEI. The synergistic integration of the electronically insulating SEI and MoC/NC suppresses electron tunneling, enables fast and balanced K+/electron transport, and promotes uniform K deposition for ...

Hydrothermal Embedding of Pd Single Atoms Into SnO2 for Efficient CO Oxidation
By applying hydrothermal regulation to SnO2‐supported PdO, we achieve atomic dispersion of Pd into the SnO2 lattice, which activates the lattice oxygen neighboring Pd atoms to generate oxygen vacancies and facilitates subsequent O2 activation, thereby promoting CO oxidation to proceed via a low‐energy‐barrier MvK pathway while avoiding CO poisoning ...

When mentioning about urban public space, most definitions tend to refer to the social and political aspects of it. This article focuses on examining “public space” from the sociological perspective. Because urban area is a place where individual people from various backgrounds reside together, it is essential that urban public space should be an open,

From urban space to urban history—an introduction
While interest in urban space in the Roman world has boomed in recent decades, the debate has developed a strong emphasis on conceptual innovation, and this has limited the sensitivity of current discourse to historical change, so that debates about Roman urban space and Roman urban history have been developing without much interaction.

Conformal Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: A Cylindrical Geometry Perspective
Cylindrical reconfigurable intelligent surfaces are explored for low‐complexity beam steering using one‐bit meta‐atoms. A multi‐level modeling approach, including optimization‐based synthesis, demonstrates that even minimal hardware can support directive scattering.
