Flexible Room‐Temperature Ammonia Sensor Using Multi‐Heterojunction MoO3/CuO/Cu2O Nanoclusters for Noninvasive Kidney Disease Diagnosis

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 6, Issue 6, June 2025.
A flexible room‐temperature ammonia sensor based on MoO3/CuO/Cu2O hybrid nanoclusters is developed for noninvasive nephropathy diagnosis. The multi‐heterojunction structure enhances charge separation and NH3 adsorption. The sensor shows high sensitivity (0.163 ppm−1), low detection limit (0.73 ppm), fast response (16.4 s), and excellent humidity ...

Chronic Kidney Disease Increases Risk of Delayed Post‐Polypectomy Bleeding: A Large‐Scale Propensity Score‐Matched Analysis

open access: yesUnited European Gastroenterology Journal, Volume 13, Issue 5, Page 759-772, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Background The association between delayed post‐polypectomy bleeding and chronic kidney disease remains unclear. Objective This study investigated whether patients with chronic kidney disease are at an increased risk of delayed post‐polypectomy bleeding.

Abdominal fat necrosis in three Vietnamese Potbellied pigs

open access: yesVeterinary Record Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 2, June 2025.
Abstract Three cases of abdominal fat necrosis in Vietnamese Potbellied pigs are described in this report. Two pigs were presented for nonspecific clinical signs of varying durations, including lethargy and hyporexia, and one pig was presented for euthanasia due to severe, progressive lameness in which abdominal fat necrosis was found incidentally.

Lower time‐averaged serum uric acid was associated with increased mortality in peritoneal dialysis patients

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, Volume 29, Issue 3, Page 479-490, June 2025.
Abstract Background The relationship between time‐averaged serum uric acid (TA‐SUA) levels and prognosis in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients are rarely discussed. Methods This was a retrospective cohort study. PD patients recruited from January 1, 2011, to December 31, 2020, were included.
