Journal of Urology, 1986
The ability of mixed spinal nerve roots to regenerate and reinnervate the urinary bladder was examined in young adult female cats. Using microsurgical technique, a unilateral extradural spinal nerve root anastomosis of a lumbar (L7) to a sacral root (S1) either with or without a nerve graft was performed.

PHÆOCHROMOCYTOMA OF THE URINARY BLADDER
British Journal of Urology, 1969SUMMARY Two further cases of phæochromocytoma of the bladder are described. Melanosis of the urinary bladder
The Annals of The Royal College of Surgeons of England, 2023Melanosis bladder refers to the urothelium of the bladder appearing black and velvety, with microscopic evaluation describing melanin deposition. Urologia Internationalis, 2010Measurements have been made in vitro of the active mechanical properties of complete pig bladders, electrically stimulated to contract. The results are described with the aid of a model of the bladder wall consisting of a contractile element in series with an elastic element.

Leiomyosarcoma of urinary bladder
Urology, 1983A retrospective analysis of 5 cases of primary leiomyosarcoma of the bladder seen during 1958 through 1978 revealed that segmental resection is curative in selected cases but that more extensive extirpation may be warranted, depending on the stage of the disease. Radiation therapy had no effect on regional disease.

A Hernia of the Urinary Bladder
Radiology, 1965Herniation of the urinary bladder into an inguinal or femoral hernia has been known since the Middle Ages, with the first record of this entity by Plater in 1550 (10). The radiographic demonstration of such a hernia is uncommon, despite its description by Robins as early as 1929 (7).
