What Makes a Mother? Investigating Maternal Success in Ex Situ Cheetahs

Feeding and diet may play a part in maternal success. Cheetahs who are reported to feed on ruminant meat have larger litters of cubs than female cheetahs who are not, while female cheetahs who are reported to experience starve days have a higher incidence of stillbirths.

Associations Between Leisure‐Time Physical Activity and Metabolomics‐Based Markers of Biological Aging in Late Midlife: Short‐Term and Long‐Term Follow‐Up

PA may delay the onset of age‐related diseases by decelerating biological aging. We found that higher self‐reported amounts of PA in late midlife and device‐based PA in old age were associated with improved MetaboHealth and that reaching twice the amount of the current PA recommendations in late midlife may lead to decelerated biological aging.
