Hereditary urogenital adysplasia
Clinical Genetics, 1980A family is reported in which three‐generation transmission of renal agenesis‐dysplasia occurred without any skeletal defects, but with uterine anomaly. The term, hereditary urogenital adysplasia is suggested and the mode of inheritance is discussed.

A 7.5-year-old boy was admitted to our department with left undescended testis. On surgical exploration, the vas deferens and epididymis were normal in appearance in its route to the scrotum, but no obvious testis or testis-like structure was identified.

The objective of this review is to provide a practical guide on the diagnosis and clinical management of urogenital atrophy. A literature search was done in Medline (1969-2008) for original reports, meta-analysis and guidelines in English on urogenital atrophy. This is a common menopausal problem and is caused by oestrogen deficiency.
