Spectroscopic properties of cool Ursa Major group members [PDF]
Until now, most members of the Ursa Major (UMa) group of stars have been identified by means of kinematic criteria. However, in many cases kinematic criteria alone are insufficient to ascertain, whether an individual star is really a member of this group.

Details of the Spatial Structure and Kinematics of the Castor and Ursa Major Streams
A list of the Castor stream members is compiled based on the data from various authors. The membership probabilities for some stars are revised based on the individual apex, multiplicity, observational errors, and peculiarity.

Enterprise and cloud data centers are comprised of tens of thousands of servers providing petabytes of storage to a large number of users and applications. At such a scale, these storage systems face two key challenges: (1) hot-spots due to the dynamic popularity of stored objects; and (2) high operational costs due to power and cooling ...

This paper presents URSA, a hybrid block store that provides virtual disks for various applications to run efficiently on cloud VMs. Trace analysis shows that the I/O patterns served by block storage have limited locality to exploit. Therefore, instead of using SSDs as a cache layer, URSA proposes an SSD-HDD-hybrid storage structure that directly ...

Superhumps in a Peculiar SU Ursae Majoris–Type Dwarf Nova, ER Ursae Majoris
The Astrophysical Journal, 1999We report the photometry of a peculiar SU Ursae Majoris-type dwarf nova, ER Ursae Majoris, for 10 nights during 1998 December and 1999 March, covering a complete rise to the supermaximum and a normal outburst cycle. Superhumps have been found during the rise to the superoutburst.
