Optimising the tumour elimination payoff in cancer therapy

Optimal therapies are derived that maximise the tumour elimination payoff (TEP), a payoff motivated from branching processes that balances the expected lifespan under therapy against drug toxicity. The TEP provides a post‐treatment outcome probability for cure and relapse.
