A User-Centred Approach to Metadata Design
2007The process of development of metadata elements and structures can be approached and supported in a number of different ways. We sketch a user-centred approach to this process, based around an iterative development methodology, and briefly outline some major questions, challenges and benefits related to this approach.

Proceedings of the 7th international conference on Human computer interaction with mobile devices & services, 2005
As mobile information systems (MISs) penetrate public facilities more and more, the way we deal with objects will continuously be changed by these technologies. Therefore, an understanding of users' natural behaviour within an environmental context becomes critical for an appropriate user interface.

On the integration of user centred design in agile development
Proceedings of the 8th Nordic Conference on Human-Computer Interaction: Fun, Fast, Foundational, 2014The integration of the User Centred Design (UCD) in Agile systems development processes (Agile) is not without problems. The context of Agile strongly affects the possibilities of IT professionals to conduct user centred activities in their work. In this workshop we will address challenges and success stories and best practices from integrating UCD ...
