Wireless Sensing for Human Activity Recognition Using USRP [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Artificial Intelligence (AI) in tandem wireless technologies is providing state-of-the-art techniques human motion detection for various applications including intrusion detection, healthcare and so on. Radio Frequency (RF) signal when propagating through the wireless medium encounters reflection and this information is stored when signals reach the ...

Characterization of NI-USRP System

open access: yes, 2014
Nowadays the rapid developments of wireless communication technologies there are more and more ways to look into the RF measurements and designs in detail such as Universal Software Radio Peripheral(USRP) from LabVIEW, Advance Design System(ADS),etc. Moreover a lack of measurements what compared with different digital modulation schemes is becoming a ...

Printable Liquid Metal-Textiles for Deformation-Insensitive and Electromagnetically Robust mmWave Devices. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
We present a textile‐compatible, self‐healing liquid metal ink and a dual‐mask printing technique for high‐resolution patterning. Using this approach, we demonstrate high‐performance millimeter‐wave (mmWave) electronic textiles that exhibit exceptional insensitivity to deformation.

FFT-perustainen spektrianalyysi USRP-ohjelmistoradioalustalla [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020

Super-Robust Telecommunications Enabled by Topological Half-Supermodes. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
Through topological half‐supermode engineering, we realize a valley‐ridge gap waveguide that is directly compatible with conventional waveguides and features topological protection. This design halves the lateral size via a PEC boundary, enabling direct TE₁₀‐mode matching and robust bend‐immune transmission.

Random Time-Space Coding Metasurfaces for Spatial Control of the Temporal Statistics of Electromagnetic Fields. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
A probabilistic framework based on random time‐space coding metasurfaces enables control of the spatial distribution of electromagnetic fields temporal statistics. By tailoring the marginal and joint distributions of random codes, electromagnetic fields with desired mean and variance patterns are realized, enabling simultaneous transmission and jamming.

Enabling Wireless In-band Full-duplex [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications, 2019
This paper presents a baseband model and an enhanced implementation of the wireless full duplex analog method introduced by [1].Unlike usual methods based on hardware and software self- interference cancelation, the proposed design relies on FSK ...

Ultrasonic surface rolling strengthening and its parameter optimization on bearing raceway

open access: yesMaterials & Design, 2023
For the first time, the ultrasonic surface rolling processing (USRP) technology was applied to a real bearing raceway, and a finite element simulation model for USRP on a bearing raceway was established.
