A USRP implementation of wiretap lattice codes [PDF]
A wiretap channel models a communication channel between a legitimate sender Alice and a legitimate receiver Bob in the presence of an eavesdropper Eve. Confidentiality between Alice and Bob is obtained using wiretap codes, which exploit the difference between the channels to Bob and to Eve.

First Coincident Radar and Optical Observations of a Meteor Radio Afterglow
Abstract It has been hypothesized that Meteor Radio Afterglows (MRAs) occur due to resonant transition radiation (RTR) where suprathermal electrons emit as they pass through electron density inhomogeneities in a turbulent plasma. Meteor trails are thought to produce suprathermal electrons through anion oxidation, which can be identified through meteor ...

Interference Diagnosis in Wireless Systems by using NI USRP [PDF]
In both industrial and domestic environments, there will be a large increase of wireless communication systems. The density of wireless devices and need of additional bandwidth is expanding which is increasing the wireless interference. Interference emerges from unintended radiators is the main cause of degrading the Electromagnetic Compatibility and ...

Demonstrating the practical challenges of wireless communications using USRP [PDF]
Wireless communications is taught in most electronics degree curricula worldwide, where the main focus is the theory of communications. While it is essential that students learn the theory of communications, this is not enough to prepare them for their careers in industry. This is due to the fact that there are several practical challenges in designing

Rapid Diagnostics of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces Using Space‐Time‐Coding Modulation
A fast reconfigurable‐intelligent‐surface (RIS) diagnostics method is proposed based on spatio‐temporal modulation with orthogonal codes. Theoretical analysis demonstrates a clear distinction in code channel power between normal and faulty elements. Simulations validate its feasibility under high fault ratios and varying receiving angles.
