Attribution of fast changes in UTCI to synoptic systems 

The UTCI index determines the impact of weather on human by combining four meteorological variables, that is, temperature, wind speed, humidity, and mean radiant temperature. In this contribution, the causes of fast changes in the UTCI index in the Czech Republic are assessed. We utilized the Aladin Reanalysis, which covers large area of Europe.

Explaining trends in UTCI in the Czechia between 1991 and 202

The increase in thermal stress on human has been recently documented due to changing climatic conditions, mainly in the lowlands and the urban areas. The future evolution of the climate, as predicted by various scenarios, also proves that thermal stress on humans will further increase.
