Is the Incidence of Early‐Onset Adenocarcinomas in Aotearoa New Zealand Increasing?

There is a rising incidence of early‐onset adenocarcinomas in Aotearoa New Zealand which is site‐specific. This includes breast, colorectal, uterine, and prostate adenocarcinomas in the total population and colorectal, uterine, and lung adenocarcinomas in the Māori population.

Imatinib decreases germ cell survival and germline stem cell proliferation in rodent testis ex vivo and in vitro

Abstract Background Imatinib and dasatinib are tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) increasingly used to treat several diseases in both children and adults at fertile age. We have previously shown that imatinib has adverse effects on developing testis, and imatinib‐treated male patients have been reported to have reduced sperm counts.

Efficacy and safety of laparoscopic lateral suspension with mesh for pelvic organ prolapse: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

Laparoscopic lateral suspension (LLS) with mesh provides effective apical and anterior vaginal support for pelvic organ prolapse, with anatomical success rates exceeding 90% and a low complication profile. This meta‐analysis reinforces LLS as a reliable surgical option, though longer follow‐up is needed to confirm its long‐term efficacy.
