UV spectrophotometry for monitoring toxic gases [PDF]

open access: yesAnalusis, 2000
The need for gas compound measurement concerns overall three domains: environmental monitoring, emission mea- surement and risk assessment. These fields are different because of concentration range (from 10 -3 to thousands mg.m-3). A fast technique has been developed based on UV spectrophotometry.

METHODS OF QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION OF "PHENIGAMMA" ELABORATION USING UV SPECTROPHOTOMETRY

open access: yesФармация и фармакология (Пятигорск), 2015
We have elaborated a methodology for quantitative determination of new biologically active derivative of GABA using UV spectrophotometry. The results obtained allowed us recommending this methodology for use in pharmaceutical analysis as excipient, and ...

UV spectrophotometry of Canopus from Gemini XI [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1970
The UV energy curve of Canopus in the 2400–4000 Å wavelength range has been obtained from spectrograms having a dispersion of 183 Å mm−1. This curve is in good agreement with previous observations and with a model atmosphere. The equivalent width of Mg11 2795 Å, 2802 Å is found to be 22 Å.

Quantification of natural DOM from UV absorption at two wavelengths [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The precise simulation of ultraviolet absorption by 23 contrasting surface-water DOM samples was achieved with a model based on two components, one absorbing light strongly (A) and the other weakly (B). The parameterised model can be used to predict [DOC]
