UWB CMOS transmitters for UWB communications
2013 National Conference on Communications (NCC), 2013Development of UWB CMOS transmitters using carrier and impulse techniques is presented. The carrier transmitter designed using a 0.18-µm CMOS process adopts a double-stage switching to enhance RF-power efficiency and reduce dc-power consumption and circuit complexity.

Communications Engineer, 2003
Still in the research stage, ultra wide band (UWB) is promising a wireless revolution. UWB wireless has received increasing interest as a means of transmitting data at a rate in excess of that required for video, and over an ad-hoc network that does not utilise a fixed access point as required by wireless LANs. UWB is a wireless transmission technology

UWB-Based Localization System Aided With Inertial Sensor for Underground Coal Mine Applications
IEEE Sensors Journal, 2020Robotic mining equipment plays an increasingly important role in the coal mining industry. Due to the complexity of the confined underground environment, available localization methods are limited, and restrict the development of coal mine robots (CMRs).

IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters
In this letter, we perform a tightly-coupled fusion of a monocular camera, a 6-DoF IMU, and multiple position-unknown Ultra-wideband (UWB) anchors to construct an indoor localization system with both accuracy and robustness.

UWB/INS Integrated Pedestrian Positioning for Robust Indoor Environments
IEEE Sensors Journal, 2020Goal: Accurate robust ultra wideband (UWB) pedestrian indoor positioning becomes a challenging task when faced with robust indoor environments such as non-line of sight (NLOS) due to refraction of signals, multipath effect, etc.

A Conformal UWB Dual-Polarized Antenna for Wireless Capsule Endoscope Systems
IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2021A conformal ultrawideband (UWB) dual-polarized capsule antenna is designed for ingestible wireless capsule endoscope (WCE) systems. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time to study the UWB dual-polarized antenna for a capsule endoscope ...
