Spiral-shaped wavefronts in a sunspot umbra
Solar active regions show a wide variety of oscillatory phenomena. The presence of the magnetic field leads to the appearance of several wave modes, whose behavior is determined by the sunspot thermal and magnetic structure.

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Testing the existence of optical linear polarization in young brown dwarfs
Linear polarization can be used as a probe of the existence of atmospheric condensates in ultracool dwarfs. Models predict that the observed linear polarization increases withthe degree of oblateness, which is inversely proportional to the surface ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Decoding Mouse Visual Tasks via Hierarchical Neural-Information Gradients
Understanding how the brain encodes and decodes dynamic neural responses to visual stimuli is crucial for revealing visual information representation. Currently, most methods (including deep neural networks, DNNs) often overlook the dynamic generation ...
