On the spectrum of [v, k, t] trades

Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference, 1998
A \([v, k, t]\) trade consists of two disjoint collections \(T_1\) and \(T_2\) of \(k\)-subsets of a \(v\)-set, so that every \(t\)-subset of the \(v\)-set occurs in the same number of sets in \(T_1\) and \(T_2\). This paper addresses the determination of the spectrum of possible volumes for \([v, k, t]\) trades using theoretical and computational ...

V(m,t) and its variants

Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference, 2001
Let \(q=mt+1\) be a prime power. Let \(C_0\) be a subgroup of order \(t\) of the multiplication group \(\text{GF}(q)\setminus \{0\}\). Let \(C_0, C_1, \dots , C_{m-1}\) be cosets of this subgroup. Then \(V(m,t)\) is defined to be a vector \((b_1,b_2,\dots , b_{m+1})\) with the property that for \(k=1,2,\dots ,m+1\), the set \(\{b_i-b_j \mid i \in \{1,2,

Achieving continuous V/sub T/ performance in a dual V/sub T/ process

Proceedings of the ASP-DAC 2005. Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference, 2005., 2005
In this paper, we present a novel approach to obtain any desired intermediate threshold voltage in a dual V/sub T/ process. The intermediate threshold voltages are achieved by combining low and high threshold voltages in a device. We show that this combination can be easily implemented in layouts with negligible design and manufacturing overhead.
