White Matter Hyperintensity Burden and Short‐Interval Change Associated With Sleep Apnoea in the UK Biobank

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Purpose White matter hyperintensities (WMH) are a core neuroimaging marker of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). Sleep apnoea (SA) is a recognized vascular risk factor, but its associations with regional WMH burden, short‐interval WMH change and cognitive performance in population‐based cohorts remain incompletely defined. Om preverbale adverbialer

open access: yesNorsk Lingvistisk Tidsskrift, 2018
Denne korte artikkelen tar for seg preverbale adverbialer, det vil si adverbialer som kan stå mellom det initiale leddet og det finitte verbet i setninger som i ut-gangspunktet skulle ha det finitte verbet på andre plass.

Prodromal Lewy Body Disorder Features in REM Sleep Behavior Disorder With Biomarker‐Defined Synucleinopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Isolated rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder (iRBD) is a prodromal state for Lewy body disorders and exhibits biological heterogeneity that may influence clinical expression and progression. We examined clinical features in individuals with iRBD and biomarker‐defined synucleinopathy.

Publish or Perish v2 [PDF]

open access: yesThe Oncologist, 2019
Communication of clinical trial outcomes is important, but the results of many clinical trials are never published. If we do not publish the results of clinical trials, the lessons learned from those trials will perish. The Oncologist offers a powerful solution through the Clinical Trial Results publishing platform, which uses an established template ...

Functional Organization of Visual Cortex in the Owl Monkey

open access: yes, 2004
In this study, we compared the organization of orientation preference in visual areas V1, V2, and V3. Within these visual areas, we also quantified the relationship between orientation preference and cytochrome oxidase (CO) staining patterns. V1 maps of

Symbolic Regression and Multi‐Objective Optimization of the Flory–Huggins Interaction Parameter for Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.
