Modeling and Topological Properties of a V2I Sub Network in VANET Based on a Complex Network
Vehicles to Infrastructure (V2I) communicate with each other in a Vehicular Ad hoc NETwork (VANET) that can be represented as a complex network. In them much interest has been attracted towards the topological properties and structure recently, and many ...

Measuring Interactional Competence in a Japanese University EFL Speaking Context
ABSTRACT The ability to interact is an integral aspect of speaking proficiency. Therefore, methods of assessing interaction need to be incorporated into second language (L2) speaking tests. The main purpose of this exploratory study is to attempt to quantify interactional competence (IC) in a Japanese university EFL (English as a foreign language ...

This study examines Japanese expats who had studied or

Contention-Based Opportunistic Spectrum Access in One-Way Highway Vehicular Networks
The spectrum sharing problem is considered under the scenario of a one-way highway vehicular network. We model the locations of the vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) nodes, the vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) nodes, and the road side units (RSUs) as 1D Poisson ...

An Efficient Cluster Based Resource Management Scheme and its Performance Analysis for V2X Networks
As the demand for VANETs data transmission continues to increase, the defined cellular band becomes a bottleneck to meet the demands for all vehicle-to-everything (V2X) users.

ABSTRACT Focusing on the narratives of two Japanese undergraduate students, this article examines their everyday experiences of using and learning English, situated within entangled relations of power. Drawing on the Foucauldian notion of discourse, the study reveals how multiple power/knowledge systems—such as native speakerism, prescriptivism ...

Securing V2I Backscattering from Eavesdropper
As our cities become more intelligent and more connected with new technologies like 6G, improving communication between vehicles and infrastructure is essential while reducing energy consumption. This study proposes a secure framework for vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) backscattering near an eavesdropping vehicle to maximize the sum secrecy rate of ...
