Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Thermodynamics of Fuzzy Spheres in PP-wave Matrix Model
We discuss thermodynamics of fuzzy spheres in a matrix model on a pp-wave background. The exact free energy in the fuzzy sphere vacuum is computed in the \mu -> \infty limit for an arbitrary matrix size N.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Is there vacuum when there is mass? Vacuum and non-vacuum solutions for massive gravity
Massive gravity is a theory which has a tremendous amount of freedom to describe different cosmologies; but at the same time the various solutions one encounters must fulfill some rather nontrivial constraints.

Simulation of thermal and flow field in a large-scale vertical roll-to-roll PECVD chamber [PDF]
The distribution of gas flow and temperature fields plays a crucial role in influencing the uniformity and deposition rate of PECVD (plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition) coating deposition processes.

Vacuum Electrodeposition of Cu(In, Ga)Se2 Thin Films and Controlling the Ga Incorporation Route
The traditional electrochemical deposition process used to prepare Cu(In, Ga)Se2 (CIGS) thin films has inherent flaws, such as the tendency to produce low-conductivity Ga2O3 phase and internal defects. In this article, CIGS thin films were prepared under

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

On the Vacuum Structure of the 3-2 Model
The 3-2 model of dynamical supersymmetry breaking is revisited, with some incidentally new observations on the vacuum structure. Extra matter is then added, and the vacuum structure is further studied.

Ground‐State Chemical Reactivity under Vibrational Coupling to the Vacuum Electromagnetic Field
The ground‐state deprotection of a simple alkynylsilane is studied under vibrational strong coupling to the zero‐point fluctuations, or vacuum electromagnetic field, of a resonant IR microfluidic cavity. The reaction rate decreased by a factor of up to 5.

A Method for Optimizing Technical Parameters of the Vacuum Freeze-Drying Process [PDF]
Vacuum freeze-drying is a technique that makes a material dehydrate at low temperature and low pressure, and it has many merits. A control system is designed and developed based on a certain area freeze-drying machine.
