Full QCD with milder topological freezing
We simulate N f = 2 + 1 QCD at the physical point combining open and periodic boundary conditions in a parallel tempering framework, following the original proposal by M.

Tailoring Functional Properties of Ti–Ni–Cu Shape Memory Alloy Thin Films for MEMS Actuators
A comprehensive study of critical parameters required to develop well‐performing Ti–Ni–Cu thin film shape memory alloy microactuators is provided. Materials science and device integration aspects are integrated by addressing structural and physical relationships using complementary characterization techniques as well as a practical fabrication solution

The topological susceptibility slope χ ′ of the pure-gauge SU(3) Yang-Mills theory
We determine the pure-gauge SU(3) topological susceptibility slope χ ′ , related to the next-to-leading-order term of the momentum expansion of the topological charge density 2-point correlator, from numerical lattice Monte Carlo simulations.

Different growth stages and surface morphology of the epitaxial 3C-SiC/Si(100) structures were studied. Heterocompositions were grown in vacuum from hydric compounds at a lower temperature. The composition, surface morphology and crystal structure of the

The QCD vacuum wave functional and confinement in Coulomb gauge [PDF]
We report results on the Coulomb-gauge ghost propagator and the color-Coulomb potential computed in two lattice gauge-field ensembles: (1) configurations derived from our recently proposed Yang-Mills vacuum wave functional in 2+1 dimensions, and (2 ...

Non perturbative and thermal dynamics of confined fields in dual QCD
In order to study the detailed dynamics and associated non-perturbative features of QCD, a dual version of the color gauge theory based on the topologically viable homogeneous fiber bundle approach has been analysed taking into account its magnetic ...

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

Bloch Waves, Magnetization and Domain Walls: The Case of the Gluon Propagator
We expand our previous study of replicated gauge configurations in lattice SU(Nc) Yang–Mills theory—employing Bloch’s theorem from condensed matter physics—to construct gauge-fixed field configurations on significantly larger lattices than the original ...
