Reduced sensory attenuation is related to aberrant interoceptive influences on intentional binding in schizophrenia

open access: yesPsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences Reports, Volume 4, Issue 2, June 2025.
We observed group differences in the level of sensory attenuation and the intentional binding effect, including the cardiac effect, as well as the association between them. These findings suggest a failure of interoceptive attenuation in schizophrenia.
