Unbounded Viscosity Solutions of Hybrid Control Systems [PDF]
We study a hybrid control system in which both discrete and continuous controls are involved. The discrete controls act on the system at a given set interface.

Vector-valued convex functions
Abstract In this paper we will extend some properties of the convex real functions to thevalued functions in a Banach lattice: with adequate definitions, we will establishthat an order convex function is continuous on a convex C if and only if it iscontinuous at a point of C (Theorem 1.2).

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

The Death of Kedis Cangak for Its Greedy (Function And Values Analysis)
Balinese society is affluent in oral literature, among which there are satua or Balinese folk tales. Recently, it has been felt that the Masatua tradition has declined dramatically. The increasingly busy level of parents causes this.

Affine Function-Valued Valuations [PDF]
A classification of SL$(n)$ contravariant, continuous function valued valuations on convex bodies is established. Such valuations are natural extensions of SL$(n)$ contravariant $L_p$ Minkowski valuations, the classification of which characterized $L_p$ projection bodies, which are fundamental in the $L_p$ Brunn-Minkowski theory, for $p \geq 1$.

Treatment Decision‐Making Roles and Preferences Among Adolescents and Young Adults With Cancer
ABSTRACT Background Decision‐making (DM) dynamics between adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer, parents, and oncologists remain underexplored in diverse populations. We examined cancer treatment DM preferences among an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse group of AYAs and their parents.

IoT Fog Computing Optimization Method Based on Improved Convolutional Neural Network
The rapid development of communication technology has promoted the development of the Internet of Things technology. It has resulted in a scarcity of computing resources for the Internet of Things devices, and limited the further development of the ...

Empowerment As Replacement for the Three Laws of Robotics
The greater ubiquity of robots creates a need for generic guidelines for robot behavior. We focus less on how a robot can technically achieve a predefined goal and more on what a robot should do in the first place.

Monotonicity of the value function for a two-dimensional optimal stopping problem [PDF]
We consider a pair $(X,Y)$ of stochastic processes satisfying the equation $dX=a(X)Y\,dB$ driven by a Brownian motion and study the monotonicity and continuity in $y$ of the value function $v(x,y)=\sup_{\tau}E_{x,y}[e^{-q\tau}g(X_{\tau})]$, where the ...

ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.
