A Proposed Circular Economy Readiness Framework for the Rail Sector, A Literature Review and Conceptual Framework

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, Volume 35, Issue 1, Page 1076-1096, January 2026.
ABSTRACT The circular economy (CE) offers a transformative approach to addressing global sustainability challenges, yet few frameworks integrate it with business strategy, systems thinking (ST) and asset management (AM), especially within critical infrastructure sectors like rail. This paper conducts a comprehensive literature review to assess existing

Catalytic Activity of Cobalt Ferrites in Water Oxidation Reactions and Its Defect Dependency

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 1, 15 January 2026.
Cobalt ferrite spinels calcined at 400–600 °C show temperature‐dependent changes in crystallinity, particle size, and defect concentration. A combination of PXRD, BET, SEM, Mössbauer spectroscopy, magnetometry, and PALS reveals how defect landscapes govern opposing trends in chemical versus electrochemical water oxidation.

Environmental Impact Evaluation Using Green Value Stream Mapping (Green-VSM) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

open access: yesJurnal Teknik ITS, 2020
PT. AI is an industry that moves their business in the agro-industrial sector. One of their products is insecticide that has cypermethrin (hazardous material) and xylene (flammable material) as the main materials in a formulation process. Moreover, PT. AI also use aluminum and corrugated box as the packaging materials.

The contribution of a surge event to infilling in a barrier‐enclosed estuary: Insights from field observations

open access: yesEarth Surface Processes and Landforms, Volume 51, Issue 1, January 2026.
A storm surge in a sheltered, barrier‐enclosed estuary amplified water levels and flood dominance, increasing suspended sediments and altering transport pathways. Observations showed a sixfold rise in flux to the upper estuary, underscoring storms' major role in estuarine infilling processes.

Molecularly Engineered Fluorescent Magnetic Microrobots for Sensing High‐Energy Nitroaromatic Explosives in Highly Acidic Aqueous Environments

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 5, 22 January 2026.
Magnetically powered fluorescent microrobots embedded with ketenimine‐based probes enable remote sensing of high‐energy explosive compounds in harsh acidic environments. Upon interaction with picric acid, the fluorescence of the microrobots is quenched, providing a precise “on–off” detection mechanism for selective monitoring in confined and hazardous ...
