The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Intermediate Results of Transaortic Edge-to-Edge Repair of the Mitral Valve in Patients Undergoing Aortic Valve Replacement [PDF]
Background and aim of the study: The study aim was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a transaortic edge-to-edge mitral valve repair in patients undergoing aortic valve replacement (AVR) who were considered to be at high risk for double-valve surgery.

Cost-Effectiveness of Intraoperative Transesophageal Echocardiography in Cardiac Valve Surgery
Introduction: Being a unique diagnostic technique, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) has influenced many different aspects of cardiac surgery including valve repair surgery. The cost-effectiveness of this method however is questioned considering the

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Isolated surgical tricuspid repair versus replacement: meta-analysis of 15 069 patients
ObjectivesTricuspid valve disease is increasingly encountered, but surgery is rarely performed in isolation, in part because of a reported higher operative risk than other single-valve operations.

Positively Charged Polymer‐Brush MOFs for Large‐Area, Pressure‐Resistant Gas Separation Membranes
A universal POPA strategy enables positively charged polymer‐brush MOFs with self‐adaptive interfacial interlocking to resist aggregation under fast processing. This design ensures seamless dispersion within large‐area selective layers, achieving 1 m‐wide roll‐to‐roll fabrication of pressure‐resistant MMCMs with tunable CO2 separation performance ...

[Aortic valve repair: state of the art] [PDF]
Mechanical or bioprosthetic aortic valve replacement has traditionally been the treatment of choice for patients with aortic valve insufficiency. However, prosthetic valve replacement has significant limitations being associated with a substantial ...

ABSTRACT The accelerating expansion of data‐centric technologies is sharply increasing the energy burden of information storage, placing unprecedented pressure on the efficiency of magnetic switching. Conventional field‐driven reversal, once the foundation of magnetic memory, has become impractical in modern architectures due to its high energy cost ...

Surgery for Congenital Tricuspid Valve Cleft: Tricuspid Valve Repair with Neochordae and Annuloplasty [PDF]
Background and aim of the study: Congenital abnormalities of the tricuspid valve (TV), including dysplasia, straddling, and those associated with other congenital heart disease, are rare causes of tricuspid regurgitation (TR).
