Galvanomagnetic properties of vanadium carbide
Physical Review B, 1975Measurements of the magnetoresistance of vanadium carbide have been made as a function of carbon concentration and temperature. For well-ordered samples the results for ${\ensuremath{\rho}}_{1111}$, ${\ensuremath{\rho}}_{1122}$, and ${\ensuremath{\rho}}_{1212}$ are analyzed along with previously taken data for the Hall effect and electrical resistivity.

Compton profile of vanadium carbide
Radiation Physics and Chemistry, 1996Abstract The isotropic Compton profile of vanadium carbide has been measured using 59.54 keV gamma radiation. To compare the experimental result with theory the Compton profile has been calculated within the frame work of the renormalized free atom model considering different V 3 d C 2 p shell electronic configurations.

Soviet Powder Metallurgy and Metal Ceramics, 1968A manometric study was carried out of the reduction of vanadium oxide with carbon, and it was found that the pressure vs time curve exhibits three discontinuities, at temperatures of 1200°C (formation of the monoxide VO), 1400°C (formation of VCX-VO solid solutions), and 1700°C (formation of the carbide VCX).
