Leveraging Dynamic Stackelberg Pricing Game for Multi-Mode Spectrum Sharing in 5G-VANET
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 20205G enabled Vehicular ad hoc network (5G-VANET) plays a promising role to support diverse intelligent transportation system (ITS) applications. There are three types of communication modes in 5G-VANET: cellular mode, reuse mode and dedicated mode, i.e ...

Ant-AODV-VANET: A Bio-Inspired Routing Protocol for VANET
2017VehicularAdhoc Network (VANET) is one of the interesting and challenging research areas in mobile communication domain. For the past few decades, researchers are trying to develop appropriate routing protocols for VANET. Among the different types of bio-inspired algorithms, Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) is found to be most recent and efficient ...

Is SDN the solution for NDN-VANETs?
2017 16th Annual Mediterranean Ad Hoc Networking Workshop (Med-Hoc-Net), 2017Named Data Networking (NDN) is a future Internet architecture suitable for Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), since it provides solutions to frequent topology changes in VANETs. In NDN messages are exchanged according to their content and not to the location of the hosts. SDN provides centralized network control.

Routing in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) is a complex task due to high mobility. In such cases, short lived routes need to be established, without any prior knowledge about the network topology. Approaching routing for the unpredictable traffic conditions of unplanned cities requires quick node discovery and validation.

Optimal assessments in VANET: The Oracle
2010 IFIP Wireless Days, 2010We discuss the accuracy of a mechanism, called Oracle, to assess position and transmission ranges in VANET. We prove that, in the best case, the assessments of the oracle are exact. Moreover, we prove that the average case of the Oracle coincides with its best case. Therefore the Oracle is optimal.
