Revisiting the Clausius/Clapeyron Equation and the Cause of Linearity
In general, for an organic compound a plot of the log vapor pressure versus inverse temperature is linear over a wide temperature range. This however can lead to a point of confusion in an undergraduate thermodynamics course.

Determination of Volatility Parameters of Secondary Organic Aerosol Components via Thermal Analysis
To date, there are limited data on the thermal properties of secondary organic aerosol (SOA) components. In this study, we employed an experimental method to evaluate the physical properties of some atmospherically relevant compounds.

An investigation of edge F-index on fuzzy graphs and application in molecular chemistry
The molecular descriptors are a useful tool in the spectral graph, molecular chemistry and several fields of chemistry and mathematics. The edge F-index is proposed for fuzzy graphs (FGs) here. Bounds of this index are calculated for FGs. The FG has been

Isotherms and thermodynamic properties of water adsorption in ‘Cumari-do-Pará’ pepper seeds [PDF]
Studies related to water sorption in seeds are essential for the design and optimization of storage systems. The objective of this research was to determine and model the adsorption isotherms and calculate the latent heat of water vaporization ...

Vapor Pressures and Enthalpies of Vaporization for Toxaphene Congeners [PDF]
Subcooled saturation liquid-phase vapor pressures (PL) were determined for 21 chlorinated bornane and camphene congeners by capillary gas chromatography. Values of PL for congeners with 6−10 chlorine substituents at 25 °C ranged from (0.23 to 7.1) mPa, and enthalpies of vaporization (ΔvapH) ranged from (77.6 to 91.8) kJ·mol-1.

Sharp Bounds of First Zagreb Coindex for F-Sum Graphs
Let G=VE,EG be a connected graph with vertex set VG and edge set EG. For a graph G, the graphs S(G), R(G), Q(G), and T(G) are obtained by applying the four subdivisions related operations S, R, Q, and T, respectively. Further, for two connected graphs G1

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) must be vaporized before it is used in the combustion process. In most regasification terminals, energy that was previously expended to liquefy natural gas is dissipated in the environment.

A Compositional Thermal Multiphase Wellbore Model for Use in Non-Isothermal Gas Lifting [PDF]
In this paper, a new compositional mechanistic wellbore model, including gas lifting parameters, is presented. In the governing equations of this model, new terms for mass transfer between phases and the enthalpy of phase change which are important in ...

A Modified Alpha Function for Peng-Robinson Cubic Equation of State
A piecewise alpha function was proposed for the Peng-Robinson equation of state (PR EoS) to predict the thermodynamic properties of pure compounds. The proposed alpha function and its derivations satisfied the requirement of consistency test.
