A mass transportation approach for Sobolev inequalities in variable exponent spaces [PDF]
In this paper we provide a proof of the Sobolev-Poincar\'e inequality for variable exponent spaces by means of mass transportation methods. The importance of this approach is that the method is exible enough to deal with different inequalities.

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

rFerns: An Implementation of the Random Ferns Method for General-Purpose Machine Learning [PDF]
In this paper I present an extended implementation of the Random ferns algorithm contained in the R package rFerns. It differs from the original by the ability of consuming categorical and numerical attributes instead of only binary ones.

Retrieval of Mangrove Aboveground Biomass at the Individual Species Level with WorldView-2 Images
Previous research studies have demonstrated that the relationship between remote sensing-derived parameters and aboveground biomass (AGB) could vary across different species types. However, there are few studies that calibrate reliable statistical models
