Predicting Epileptogenic Tubers in Patients With Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Using a Fusion Model Integrating Lesion Network Mapping and Machine Learning

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Accurate localization of epileptogenic tubers (ETs) in patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is essential but challenging, as these tubers lack distinct pathological or genetic markers to differentiate them from other cortical tubers.

Investigation of double diffusion Cattaneo-Christov model in mixed convection flow by variable thickness surface

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2017
This investigation examines the characteristics of nonlinear mixed convection flow by stretching sheet with variable thickness. Double diffusion Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model is implemented.

Large thermomagnetic effects in weakly disordered Heisenberg chains

open access: yes, 2008
The interplay of different scattering mechanisms can lead to novel effects in transport. We show theoretically that the interplay of weak impurity and Umklapp scattering in spin-1/2 chains leads to a pronounced dip in the magnetic field dependence of the

Clinical Conditions Associated With a High Antinuclear Antibody Titer in Individuals Without Autoimmune Disease

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Antinuclear antibodies (ANAs) are present at high titers in 2% of the general population, but their clinical significance in individuals without an autoimmune (AI) disease is not known. We tested the hypothesis that the presence of a high ANA titer in non‐AI conditions is associated with disease.

Influence of variable fluid properties on mixed convective Darcy–Forchheimer flow relation over a surface with Soret and Dufour spectacle

open access: yesOpen Physics
The thermo-diffusion applications of nanofluid subject to variable thermal sources have been presented. The significance of Darcy–Forchheimer effects is attributed. The flow comprises the mixed convection and viscous dissipation effects. Furthermore, the

Effect of viscosity and thermal conductivity on the radial oscillation and relaxation of relativistic stars

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper we present a generic formulation of the linearized dynamical equations governing small adiabatic radial oscillations of relativistic stars.

Mechanochemical Synthesis and Characterization of Nanostructured ErB4 and NdB4 Rare‐Earth Tetraborides

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Non-Drude universal scaling laws for the optical response of local Fermi liquids

open access: yes, 2013
We investigate the frequency and temperature dependence of the low-energy electron dynamics in a Landau Fermi liquid with a local self-energy. We show that the frequency and temperature dependencies of the optical conductivity obey universal scaling ...

Enhancing Corrosion Resistance and Mechanical Strength of 3D‐Printed Iron Polylactic Acid for Marine Applications via Laser Surface Texturing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Laser surface texturing significantly improves the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 3D‐printed iron polylactic acid (Ir‐PLA) for marine applications. Optimal laser parameters reduce corrosion by 80% and enhance tensile strength by 25% and ductility by 15%.
