The Sensitivity of Nucleosynthesis in Type I X-ray Bursts to Thermonuclear Reaction-Rate Variations [PDF]
We examine the sensitivity of nucleosynthesis in Type I X-ray bursts to variations in nuclear rates. As a large number of nuclear processes are involved in these phenomena -with the vast majority of reaction rates only determined theoretically due to the lack of any experimental information- our results can provide a means for determining which rates ...

Contactless Tracking of Decomposition in Self‐Reporting Ceramic Cr‐Al‐B Coatings
Proof of concept for contactless tracking of decomposition in self‐reporting ceramic Cr‐Al‐B coatings in extreme environments by contactless resistivity measurements is demonstrated. To verify the results, high resolution in situ and ex situ methods are employed.

Particle module of Piernik MHD code [PDF]
Piernik is a multi-fluid grid magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) code based on the Relaxing Total Variation Diminishing (RTVD) conservative scheme. The original code has been extended by addition of dust described within the particle approximation.

Numerical self-consistent stellar models of thin disks
We find a numerical self-consistent stellar model by finding the distribution function of a thin disk that satisfies simultaneously the Fokker-Planck and Poisson equations.

Analysis of Polar Motion Variations from 170-year Observation Series [PDF]
This work is devoted to investigation of low frequency variations in Polar motion (PM). It has been shown that the main PM features can be effectively investigated using not only time series of the Pole coordinates, but also using series of latitude variations obtained from observations at one observatory.

This work explores the thermal kinetics of laser‐zone‐drawn electrospun nanofibers. Laser‐zone drawing is a technique that allows for localized heating of nanofiber segments, which results in better mechanical drawing. The high surface‐to‐volume ratio of nanofibers allows for ultrafast thermal kinetics at small diameters.

Fully Passive Electrochemical Oxygen Sensor Enabled With Organic Electrochemical Transistor
A wireless oxygen sensor that operates with low power without batteries, using organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) powered by near‐field communication (NFC) is presented. The sensor combines an oxygen‐permeable membrane and a gel electrolyte to detect oxygen in air and complex liquids, making way for sustainable sensor technologies.
