Meteor Radar for Investigation of the MLT Region: A Review
This is an introductory review of modern meteor radar and its application to the measurement of the dynamical parameters of the Mesosphere Lower Thermosphere (MLT) Region within the altitude range of around 70 to 110 km, which is where most meteors are ...

MULTIPLE CORRELATION MODELS OF DEPENDENCE OF RADIANT FLUXES OF COSMIC RADIO SOURCES ON EXTREME CONDITIONS OF SPACE WEATHER AT DECAMETER WAVES [PDF]
Purpose: Investigation of the effects of the influence of solar and geomagnetic activity on the condition of the Earth’s upper atmosphere by the method of “transmission through” it with the radiation of cosmic radio sources.

The ISO Galactic Metallicity Gradient Revisited [PDF]
Two independent groups (Giveon et al. 2002; Martin-Hernandez et al. 2002) have recently investigated the Galactic metallicity gradient as probed by ISO observations of mid-infrared emission lines from HII regions.

Formation of 2D Electron Gas at a Non‐Polar Perovskite Oxide Interface: SrHfO3/BaSnO3
Through experiments and Poisson‐Schrödinger simulations, 2D electron gas formed at the non‐polar SrHfO3/BaSnO3 interface is observed. A large conduction band offset enables modulation doping by the intrinsic deep donors in SrHfO3, resulting in carrier confinement in BaSnO3 without relying on interfacial polarization or termination‐layer engineering ...

Chemo‐Mechanical Coupling in Hydrogels: Dynamics in the Diffusion‐Limited Regime
A time‐dependent continuum model is developed to capture the transient swelling dynamics of chemo‐mechanical hydrogels. By coupling chemical reactions, solvent transport, and polymer deformation, volume phase transitions, reaction kinetics, and transient mechanical instabilities are analyzed.

Intranight optical variability of radio-quiet BL Lacertae objects
Aims: Intranight variation (or microvariation) is a common phenomenon of radio-loud BL Lac objects. However, it is not clear whether the recently found radio-quiet BL Lac objects have the same properties.

Ferroelectricity in Single‐Crystalline BaTiO3 Nanodisks on Silicon
Ferroelectricity is studied in 20 nm thick single crystalline BaTiO3 nanodisks when scaling their diameter from ≈ 400 down to 100 nm. For 100 nm diameter, the vertical polarization component adopts three distinct patterns, and the lateral one shows a rotational invariance in‐plane, suggesting a combination of center‐type and flux‐closure domains.

Nitrogen‐Vacancy Magnetometry of Edge Magnetism in WS2 Flakes
Using nitrogen‐vacancy magnetometry, the authors visualize room‐temperature stray magnetic fields localized at the edges of WS2 flakes. Their measurements reveal edge‐specific magnetization consistent with spin canting in antiferromagnetically coupled edge states.
