Abstract This paper examines the gap in number skills between socioeconomically disadvantaged and non‐disadvantaged children in the first year of compulsory schooling in England. Past research mostly relies on statutory assessment data collected towards the end of the first year of school and does not show the attainment gap associated with ...

A New Algorithm for Variational Inequality Problems in CAT(0) Spaces
Numerous strong and weak convergence results on variational inequality problems are known in the literature. We here study a variational inequality problem by using the viscosity approximation method in the nonlinear CAT(0) space, where some novel ...

Contrasting roles of school and public libraries in lower primary pupils' reading

This study examines how visits to school and public libraries relate to pupils' reading attitudes, practices and self‐assessed reading ...

Abstract Grounded in principles of epistemic justice, this article examines the educational impacts of Zambia's COVID‐19 school closures on Indigenous girls in two districts and highlights community‐led pathways for resilience. National responses prioritised broadcast and digital delivery but presupposed access to electricity, digital devices and ...

A new system of generalized nonlinear relaxed cocoercive variational inequalities
We introduce and study a new system of generalized nonlinear relaxed cocoercive inequality problems and construct an iterative algorithm for approximating the solutions of the system of generalized relaxed cocoercive variational inequalities in Hilbert ...
