Abstract The present study was conducted as part of a comprehensive work to establish National Diagnostic Reference Levels (NDRLs) in Sri Lanka for the first time. DRLs can be used as an effective optimization tool for identifying unusually high or low patient doses during X‐ray examinations.

Proof of the Variational Principle for a Pair Hamiltonian Boson Model [PDF]
We give a two parameter variational formula for the grand-canonical pressure of the Pair Boson Hamiltonian model. By using the Approximating Hamiltonian Method we provide a rigorous proof of this variational principle.

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

The Steepest Slope toward a Quantum Few-body Solution: Gradient Variational Methods for the Quantum Few-body Problem [PDF]
Quantum few-body systems are deceptively simple. Indeed, with the notable exception of a few special cases, their associated Schrodinger equation cannot be solved analytically for more than two particles. One has to resort to approximation methods to tackle quantum few-body problems.

On a variational method for the Beltrami equations [PDF]
We construct variations for the classes of regular solutions to degenerate Beltrami equations with restrictions of the set-theoretic type for the complex coefficient. On this basis, we prove the variational maximum principle and other necessary conditions of extremum.

Combining melting curve analysis enhances the multiplexing capability of digital PCR. Here, we developed a 14‐plex assay to simultaneously measure single nucleotide mutations and amplifications of KRAS and GNAS, which are common driver genes in pancreatic cancer precursors. This assay accurately quantified variant allele frequencies in clinical samples

Absolute Value Variational Inequalities and Dynamical Systems
In this paper, we consider the absolute value variational inequalities. We propose and analyze the projected dynamical system associated with absolute value variational inequalities by using the projection method.

The pseudorelativistic Hartree equation with a general nonlinearity: existence, non existence and variational identities [PDF]
We prove several existence and non existence results of solitary waves for a class of nonlinear pseudo-relativistic Hartree equations with general nonlinearities. We use variational methods and some new variational identities involving the half Laplacian.

Exploration of heterogeneity and recurrence signatures in hepatocellular carcinoma
This study leveraged public datasets and integrative bioinformatic analysis to dissect malignant cell heterogeneity between relapsed and primary HCC, focusing on intercellular communication, differentiation status, metabolic activity, and transcriptomic profiles.
