Near‐Infrared Emitting Lanthanide Catecholate Giant Single Crystals – Morphology Control and Photon Down‐Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

Application of Variational Mode Decomposition in Wind Power Fault Diagnosis

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2015
As to mode mixing problem of empirical mode decomposition( EMD) and local mean decomposition( LMD) when they are applied to field data decomposition,a new wind turbine fault diagnosis method based on variational mode decomposition( VMD) is put forward ...

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

State of Charge Balancing Control Strategy for Wind Power Hybrid Energy Storage Based on Successive Variational Mode Decomposition and Multi-Fuzzy Control

open access: yesEnergies
To address the instability of wind power caused by the randomness and intermittency of wind generation, as well as the challenges in power compensation by hybrid energy storage systems (HESSs), this paper proposes a state of charge (SOC) balancing ...

RMS/Rate Dynamics via Localized Modes

open access: yes, 2002
We consider some reduction from nonlinear Vlasov-Maxwell equation to rms/rate equations for second moments related quantities. Our analysis is based on variational wavelet approach to rational (in dynamical variables) approximation.

On‐Surface Indigo‐Based Bimolecular Coordination Networks with Programmable Regular or Vitreous Structure

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A previously unreported coordination motif stabilising single Fe atoms by indigo chelation and pyridyl coordination on Au(111) has been revealed. By using planar tritopic pyridyl linkers (TPyB), extended 2D porous networks of indigo3(TPyB)2Fe6 form. These networks can be crystalline or vitreous and offer an environment where individual coordination ...

3D‐Printed Sulfur‐Derived Polymers With Controlled Architectures for Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Rheology‐guided formulation design for direct ink writing enables the fabrication of 3D sulfur copolymer cathodes with controlled architectures for lithium‐sulfur batteries. The printed electrodes exhibit multiscale porosity and high sulfur utilization, delivering enhanced electrochemical performance compared to conventional cast electrodes.

Nonlinear Dynamics of High-Brightness Beams [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The consideration of transverse dynamics of relativistic space-charge dominated beams and halo growth due to bunch oscillations is based on variational approach to rational (in dynamical variables) approximation for rms envelope equations.
