Ramsey Varieties of Finite Groups
Let K be the class of finite groups in the variety generated by a finite group G. For \(D,E\in K\) let (E,D) denote the set of subalgebras of E isomorphic to D. Let \(A,B\in K\) and r be a natural number. The class K is said to be (A,r)-Ramsey for B if there exists a \(C\in K\) such that for any partition of (C,A) into r classes there exists a member \(

Blooming phenology and fertility of sour cherry cultivars selected in Hungary
Experiments were conducted during the period between 1972 and 2002 at three sites in Hungary. At Érd 97, Helvetia 10, and Újfehértó, 3 cultivars were studied in variety collections.

Groups of symplectic involutions on symplectic varieties of Kummer type and their fixed loci
We describe the Galois action on the middle $\ell $ -adic cohomology of smooth, projective fourfolds $K_A(v)$ that occur as a fiber of the Albanese morphism on moduli spaces of sheaves on an abelian surface A with Mukai vector v.

On the topologies on ind-varieties and related irreducibility questions [PDF]
In the literature there are two ways of endowing an a ne indvariety with a topology. One possibility is due to Shafarevich and the other to Kambayashi. In this paper we specify a large class of a ne ind-varieties where these two topologies di er. We give

Heat resistance of different garden groups and rose varieties
The results of studying the effect of high temperatures on the resistance to heat damage of leaf blade of six groups of garden roses and wild Rosa canina L. are presented. It is established that the lethal temperature for the leaves of garden roses is 60.

Expanding the framework of the varieties of capitalism: Turkey as a hierarchical market economy
This article both extends the debate on the varieties of capitalism theory beyond the existing literature to solve the ambiguous position of the variety of capitalism that is found in Turkey and brings a novel approach to the studies of the political ...

Automorphisms in Varieties of Groups
If \(N\) is a characteristic subgroup of the group \(G\), then each automorphism of \(G\) induces an automorphism on \(G/N\) and so there is a homomorphism \(\pi:\text{Aut}(G)\to\text{Aut}(G/N)\). Thus if \(V\) is a variety of groups, \(V(F_n)\) the verbal subgroup corresponding to \(V\) and \(F_n(V)\cong F_n/V(F)\) the relatively free group of \(V ...

Lower bounds for the normalized height and non-dense subsets of varieties in an abelian variety [PDF]
This work is the third part of a series of papers. In the first two we considered curves and varieties in a power of an elliptic curve. Here we deal with subvarieties of an abelian variety in general.

Performance Evaluation of Some Grape Varieties Growing in Different Altitude Groups
This study was carried out in 3 different altitude groups (800 m, 1000 m, and 1200 m) under farmer vineyards in Malatya province in 2017 in order to determine the effect of altitude on some quality parameters of grapes.
