Fibrations of algebraic varieties and derived equivalence
In this talk we study the behavior of special classes of fibrations onto normal projective varieties that admit a finite morphism to an abelian variety under derived equivalence of smooth projective complex varieties. Our first result is that any derived

Heights and multiplicative relations on algebraic varieties [PDF]
Points on a subvariety X of a semi-abelian variety A that are contained in a subgroup, let the subgroup be of finite rank or algebraic, are subject to severe restrictions arithmetical nature. Finiteness results for intersections of X with subgroups of

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Barley varieties registered in the Slovak republic in 2008.
In 2008 following malting varieties of spring barley were registered in the Slovak Republic: Shakira, Blaník, Levan and Prodeum. Malt of the varieties Levan and Prodeum provided above average extract content and high activity of all three followed groups

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

On identities in the products of group varieties [PDF]
Let ℬn be the variety of groups satisfying the identity xn = 1. It is proved that for every sufficiently large prime p, say p > 1010, the product ℬpℬp cannot be defined by a finite set of identities. This solves the problem formulated by C. K. Gupta and A. N. Krasilnikov in 2003.

Principal and syntactic congruences in congruence-distributive and congruence-permutable varieties
We give a new proof that a finitely generated congruence-distributive variety has finitely determined syntactic congruences (or, equivalently, term finite principal congruences), and show that the same does not hold for finitely generated congruence ...
