On Some Varieties of MTL-algebras
Logic Journal of the IGPL, 2005 Properties of radicals of MTL-algebras are studied. Perfect MTL-algebras are characterized as algebras for which the quotient by the radical is isomorphic to the two-element Boolean algebra. Equational bases for the variety generated by all perfect MTL-algebras are given. Connections with a fuzzy logic are described.

Semisimple Varieties of Modal Algebras
Studia Logica, 2006 In this paper we show that a variety of modal algebras of finite type is semisimple iff it is discriminator iff it is both weakly transitive and cyclic. This fact has been claimed already in [4] (based on joint work by the two authors) but the proof was fatally flawed.
