Spectral theory and nonlinear problems Théorie spectrale et problèmes non-linéaires [PDF]

open access: yesSurveys in Mathematics and its Applications, 2010
We present a Lie algebra theoretical schema leading to integrable systems, based on the Kostant-Kirillov coadjoint action. Many problems on Kostant-Kirillov coadjoint orbits in subalgebras of infinite dimensional Lie algebras (Kac-Moody Lie algebras)

On BRK-Algebras

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2012
The notion of BRK-algebra is introduced which is a generalization of BCK/BCI/BCH/Q/QS/BM-algebras. The concepts of 𝐺-part, 𝑝-radical, medial of a BRK-algebra are introduced and studied their properties.

Pseudo-free families of computational universal algebras

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Cryptology, 2020
Let Ω be a finite set of finitary operation symbols. We initiate the study of (weakly) pseudo-free families of computational Ω-algebras in arbitrary varieties of Ω-algebras.

On Fuzzy Deductive Systems of Hilbert Algebras

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2020
In this paper, we study fuzzy deductive systems of Hilbert algebras whose truth values are in a complete lattice satisfying the infinite meet distributive law.

On Some Varieties of MTL-algebras

open access: yesLogic Journal of the IGPL, 2005
Properties of radicals of MTL-algebras are studied. Perfect MTL-algebras are characterized as algebras for which the quotient by the radical is isomorphic to the two-element Boolean algebra. Equational bases for the variety generated by all perfect MTL-algebras are given. Connections with a fuzzy logic are described.

Semisimple Varieties of Modal Algebras

open access: yesStudia Logica, 2006
In this paper we show that a variety of modal algebras of finite type is semisimple iff it is discriminator iff it is both weakly transitive and cyclic. This fact has been claimed already in [4] (based on joint work by the two authors) but the proof was fatally flawed.

Isometries of the unitary groups and Thompson isometries of the spaces of invertible positive elements in C*-algebras [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We show that the existence of a surjective isometry (which is merely a distance preserving map) between the unitary groups of unital C*-algebras implies the existence of a Jordan *-isomorphism between the algebras.

ON ALGEBRAIC HYPERBOLICITY OF LOG VARIETIES [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Contemporary Mathematics, 2004
Kobayashi conjecture says that every holomorphic map [Formula: see text] is constant for a very general hypersurface D⊂ℙnof degree deg D≥2n+1. As a corollary of our main theorem, we show that f is constant if [Formula: see text] is contained in an algebraic curve.

Order preserving limits of finite-dimensional nest algebras. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We introduce order conserving embeddings as a more general form of order preserving embeddings between finite dimensional nest algebras. The structure of these embeddings is determined, in terms of order indecomposable decompositions, and they are shown ...
