Vascular Access for Hemodialysis Patency Rates and Results of Revision
Over a 4-year interval, 324 arteriovenous conduits were created in 256 patients with end-stage renal disease as access for chronic hemodialysis. These included 154 Cimino fistulae, 163 polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) grafts, and seven miscellaneous grafts.

The association of genotype polymorphisms with vascular access patency in hemodialysis patients [PDF]
Some hemodialysis patients suffer from repeat dysfunction of dialysis vascular access and need procedures of angioplasty, thrombectomy, and even temporary catheter use. Why these patients are vulnerable to vascular access dysfunction and how to improve its patency are imperative to be discovered.

Introduction: Arteriovenous fistulas (AVF) are the best hemodialysis vascular accesses, but their failure rate remains high. Few studies have addressed the role of the vascular surgeon's skills and the facility's practices.

Patency Following Successful Thrombolysis of Occluded Vascular Grafts
to determine patency after successful lysis of occluded bypass grafts.data were collected from four centres with a wide experience of thrombolysis. Outcome following successful lysis was determined from prospectively collected data or case notes. Data from 75 patients, 53 men, were analysed.median age at time of lysis was 68 years (range 33-88). Median

Mucin Covalently Bonded to Microfibers Improves the Patency of Vascular Grafts [PDF]
Due to high incidence of vascular bypass procedures, an unmet need for suitable vessel replacements exists, especially for small-diameter (

Results of aggressive graft surveillance and endovascular treatment on secondary patency rates of Vectra Vascular Access Grafts [PDF]
ObjectiveThe aim of the present study was to determine the effect of an aggressive graft surveillance and endovascular treatment protocol on secondary patency rates of a polyetherurethaneurea vascular access graft, specially designed to provide early ...

BackgroundVascular access failure is a huge burden for patients undergoing hemodialysis. Many efforts have been made to maintain vascular access patency, including pharmacotherapy.

Effects of patient age on patency of chronic hemodialysis vascular access [PDF]
Abstract Background In this single-center, retrospective observational study, we assessed the long-term patency of vascular access (VA) after first VA placement to uncover independent risk factors associated with VA patency in Asian hemodialysis (HD) patients stratified by age.

An assessment of spiral flow graft patency rates in Hemodialysis (HD) patients
Introduction: Vascular access for hemodialysis remains a challenge for end stage renal failure (ESRF) patients. Autogenous arterio-venous fistulae are the first choice, but synthetic grafts may be required.

ABSTRACT Introduction This final analysis of a multicenter, prospective postmarketing surveillance study evaluated the safety of daprodustat in patients with chronic kidney disease anemia in routine clinical practice in Japan. Methods Patients who initiated daprodustat between September 2020 and July 2022 were registered.
