An Implanted Tooth That Can Feel

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 32, 9 June 2026.
To endow the implanted tooth with masticatory perception, herein we demonstrate that a 3D‐printed piezoelectric‐core/robust‐sheath implanted tooth can rebuild the sensing feedback, serving as “mechanoreceptors” in converting the mechanical chewing force to electrical signals, and up to brain through surrounding alveolar nerve system.

A trade-off analysis of recoating methods for vat photopolymerization of ceramics

open access: yes, 2017
Technical ceramic parts can be produced by curing ceramic-filled resins in the vat photopolymerization (stereolithography) process. Scaling up to larger ceramic product sizes and higher productquality calls for the integration of more sensing, actuation ...

High‐Performance Recycling Biobased Photopolymers for 3D Printing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 32, 9 June 2026.
By using biobased phenols like eugenol, novel biobased photopolymers containing dissociative phenol‐carbamate bonds are designed for 3D printing. Meanwhile, a “mixed‐monomer assisted recycling” strategy is proposed to recycle the materials. The resulting materials not only achieve high‐performance and excellent chemical recyclability simultaneously ...

Electroconductive Soft Microcarriers for Suspension Culture of Skeletal Muscle Cells

open access: yesMacromolecular Bioscience, Volume 26, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The advancement of conductive biomaterials is essential for engineering electrically responsive tissues, such as skeletal muscle, cardiac, and neural tissues. Traditional hydrogel‐based microcarriers (MCs) lack inherent conductivity, limiting their potential for cell signaling and differentiation. In this study, we present a soft conductive MC

Reprocessable and Repairable Bio‐Based Vitrimers From Acrylated Epoxidized Rapeseed Oil for Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 6, June 2026.
Bio‐based UV‐curable vitrimer resins derived from acrylated epoxidized rapeseed oil enable reprocessable and repairable thermosets for vat photopolymerization. Catalyst‐free and Zn‐based systems reveal tunable stress relaxation and mechanical recovery. Remarkably, repaired 3D‐printed parts exceed original strength, highlighting dynamic bond exchange as

Evaluation of the Mechanical, Thermal, and Sustainability Performance of Cellulose Nanofibril‐Reinforced Photopolymer Composites Fabricated via Digital Light Processing

open access: yesPolymers for Advanced Technologies, Volume 37, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This study systematically investigates the mechanical, thermal, electrical, and environmental performance of photopolymer nanocomposites reinforced with cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) and fabricated via Digital Light Processing (DLP). CNFs were selected due to their high aspect ratio, biodegradability, and strong interfacial bonding potential ...
