Unification with vector-like fermions and signals at LHC [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We look for minimal extensions of Standard Model with vector like fermions leading to precision unification of gauge couplings. Constraints from proton decay, Higgs stability and perturbativity are considered.

Collider signatures of vector-like fermions from a flavor symmetric model [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We propose a model with two Higgs doublets and several SU(2) scalar singlets with a global non-Abelian flavor symmetry Q 6 × Z 2 $$ {\mathcal{Q}}_6\times {\mathcal{Z}}_2 $$ .

Relic challenges for vector-like fermions as connectors to a dark sector

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
New dark sectors consisting of exotic fields that couple only very feebly to the Standard Model (SM) have strong theoretical motivation and may be relevant to explaining the abundance of dark matter (DM).

Road map through the desert: unification with vector-like fermions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
In light of null results from New Physics searches at the LHC, we look at unification of the gauge couplings as a model-building principle. As a first step, we consider extensions of the Standard Model with vector-like fermions.

The Interplay of Magnetic Order with the Electronic Scattering and Crystal‐Field Effects in a Metallic Ferromagnet [PDF]

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 13, 3 March 2026.
The interplay between magnetic ordering and crystal electric field (CEF) excitations plays a pivotal role in defining the low‐energy electrodynamics of quantum materials. By probing the temperature‐dependent THz conductivity in a rare‐earth‐based metallic ferromagnet, we uncover a microscopic connection between localized and itinerant electrons ...

W boson mass and grand unification via the type-II seesaw-like mechanism

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2023
We propose an SU(5) GUT model extended with two additional pairs of 10 representation vector-like fermions. The CDF collaboration W boson mass anomaly is explained by using the VEV of a real SU(2)L triplet scalar coming from the 24 representation Higgs ...

Electroweak precision constraints on vector-like fermions [PDF]

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C, 2008
We calculate the oblique electroweak corrections and confront with the experiments in an extension of the Standard Model. The new fields added are a vector-like weak doublet and a singlet fermion. After electroweak symmetry breaking there is a mixing between the components of the new fields, but no mixing allowed with the standard fermions.

SU(5) × U(1)′ Models with a Vector-like Fermion Family [PDF]

open access: yesUniverse, 2021
Motivated by experimental measurements indicating deviations from the Standard Model predictions, we discuss F-theory-inspired models, which, in addition to the three chiral generations, contain a vector-like complete fermion family. The analysis takes place in the context of SU(5)×U(1)′ GUT embedded in an E8 covering group, which is associated with ...

Road map through the desert with scalars

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
In the context of the gauge coupling unification, we present a comprehensive analysis of the extensions of the Standard Model with vector-like fermions and scalars.

New vector-like fermions and flavor physics [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2015
We study renormalizable extensions of the standard model that contain vector-like fermions in a (single) complex representation of the standard model gauge group. There are 11 models where the vector-like fermions Yukawa couple to the standard model fermions via the Higgs field. These models do not introduce additional fine- tunings.
